Typical closures/refurb?

Looks like a big family trip Jan 2018 as we will have 3 first timers, i am wondering what closures we can expect.

We anticipate to travel approx Jan 2-10 2018.

The only typical closure would be Typhoon Lagoon and the greater likelihood that a resort pool may be closed for refurb (but they generally give you access to another resorts pool if your feature pool is closed)

Otherwise there seems no rhyme and reason to attraction closures...other than waiting for my train-crazy nephew to book a trip so they can close the MK train and deprive him of his greatest joy

in the past Splash Mt was usually closed for refurb in Jan. But anything can happen with disney

That particular week in January is during Marathon Week.......which can/will be a busy week at WDW. In the past you could count on Jan and Feb being big refurb months............alas that doesn't seem to be the case any longer.

All bets are off............
