Hi guys....new here on these boards, but have found it a wealth of information. Planning for a late August/early Sept. trip for our family of four. Have already booked PC in 60's with a AAA rate, but hoping that I can find some awesome AP rate to put us in the Poly which I have wanted to stay in forever! Can't afford rack rates, and AAA rate still too high...was wondering if anyone who has been there around Aug./early Sept. with an AP rate can share what I might expect to see for the Poly...not picky, will take a garden view room if we can get a good discount.

Thanks so much for your help.

I don't know about the AP rates but Disney publishes them on their website, but you have to have an AP number to get in. If you want to wait to buy your AP you can't access their prices. However, join Mousesavers (its free) Go to www.mousesavers.com. They will tell you the AP rates when published. We stayed at the Polynesian with a garden view and were very happy with it. The monorail went right by our balcony, which our kids loved. They could sit on the balcony and wave! There was also a nice view of a wooded area. Personally, I would never pay $$$ extra for a view of the fireworks, etc. You're probably not going to be in the room during the fw anyways. I awlays say I'm not going to Disney (or anywhere else) to sit and look out the window! You'll be quite happy with a garden view at the Poly.
