I would be interested in hearing peoples comments regarding the new slides at TL. I am suprised that I haven't seen anything yet.

We were at WDW in March when they opened, but couldn't get there to try them. Now we are going back in November and would like to plan on a day at TL.

There have been lots of posts on Crush N Gusher - You must have missed them. Do a search for Crush N Gusher & you'll see lots of feedback.

We did this for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Me, dh, and our girls 8 (just turned 9) and 11yrs old. We all loved it!

Pros-Alot of guests don't seem to know it's there yet. Disney hasn't updated the park map yet, and there's a brochure they've added to include info on it. But it was a good on for us, we rode 6x (each slide twice) with minimal waiting. All the slides are similar with just slight differences. We thought the slide in the middle was our fav., I think it was Coconut. We got a little more "air time" on it! You could ride single, double or triple, so a nervous rider doesn't have to go alone. We rode doubles everytime to share the fun! It's more exciting than scary. It made me laugh! :Pinkbounc

Cons- They're short rides! Not much in the way of themeing. Make sure you keep your bum lifted up or you'll feel the rollers at the beginning!

We went in June for the first time. My son and his friend liked it. I did not. The three of us rode on a three person raft. The ride is fun, but quite rough. It is very hard to keep your butt from scraping on the belts when you get to the bottom of a hill. Also, at one point towards the end of the slide, we hit the bottom of a hill and when we started back up, it was so abrupt that it snapped my head back and cracked my neck. I was in the back position on the raft. When we got to the bottom, my neck was hurting. I mentioned to my son that the last hill had snapped my neck. He said that he heard it and he thought it was a branch breaking.

There are stairs to climb and you do have to carry your riding tube up the stairs with you. You have a choice between two person tubes and three person tubes.
