Can anyone advise as to whether there is a charge (other than admission) for Shark Reef(snorkeling) at Typhoon Lagoon?

There is no additional fee. You line up and get a snorkel and mask and they let you in in small groups.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear there is no additional charge. I saw a photo recently of Lilo & Stitch at TL. Do you happen to know if this is typical? We are planning a trip this Sept and my youngest DD loves Stich. We hope to do both water parks. I don't suppose there are any characters at Bizzard Beach?

I don't believe characters are typical at water parks.

Wanted to also mention that DNiece9 and I did the reef for the first time on our last trip, and it was soooo neat!!

There is an option to pay for the 30 minute scuba tanks are also available to rent for $20- ask about SAS(Supplied Air Snorkeling). If you have a person who is interested in doing a longer time in the area, this is a fun option when someone is interested in SCUBA (it is not an official SCUBA thing, but it does give the experience of breathing oxygen while underwater).
