How would you rate the attractions at TL? I am not a good swimmer and don't want to be taken by surprise. I know I will like the lazy river raft ride. I probably won't like the surf waves. What would you suggest for someone who likes a modest water slide? I don't like to go so fast that I am laid down in the water on the slide. How about Crush and Gusher? How different are the 3 paths? Suggestions?

Please rate the rides 1 for mild, 5 for yikes. Thanks!

Crush and Gusher is actually a raft ride so you are riding an innertube down. We have been on all of the paths and didn't think there was a big difference in thrill, they were all fun though. We didn't have any problem with the water slides being too fast. I think we always were sitting up when we reached the bottom. You shouldn't have a problem with the attractions at TL. From what we have experienced, you can look at the slide and pretty much tell how fast people are going by watching people exit.

Help, please. I am hoping for a list of the attractions with their difficulty level. 5 for yikes, 1 for very tame. Thanks in advance.

Rating the Lazy River as a 1 and the wave pool as a 5. I would rate the rest of the attractions as this.

Humunga Kowabunga: 5
Storm Slides: 4
Gangplank Falls: 1-2
Mayday Falls: 2
Keelhaul Falls: 2
Crush 'n' Gusher: 3-4
Shark Reef: If you can feel comfortable in a life vest in 10ft of water it is a 2, if not it is a 4-5.

Hope this helps!!

I would agree with this list...except perhaps Crush-n-Gusher to more of a 4-5 instead of 3-4. Now, I totally LOVE that ride...my favorite in all of TL...but you do go FAST. Yes, you are holding a raft...but you fly. You empty out into a shallow pool, though--maybe 3 feet--so very easy to just stand up and walk out.

Now that I think of it, I might think of the storm slides as a 3-4 rather than a 4. My kids all did these over and over...even the 3 year old (yes, she had a vest on). They go fast in some spots, but I consider them more of a "traditional" water slide...not super fasr. Plus, they empty out into shallow water as well. There are 3 slides...one does get pitch black as you go through a tunnel.
