I never thought I would ever say this about anything having to do with Six Flags, but the kiddie area at HH (NJ) ROCKS!! It kicks TL butt here and back. I think my kids are gonna be disappointed with the kid section in August!!
I will say that you can't compare the two wave pools. TL's is awesome.
HH also had what they called "Play Money". You would pay cash or credit card, and get a waterproof wristband with whatever amount of money you put on it. You have no need to carry cash or credit with you, you can lock it up. You use your wristband for food, drink, snack or souvies. At the end of the day you bring back your wristband, and you will get the money that is left back. It was awesome!!!

THANX for posting! Useful info for me since I was wondering how TL compares to HH. We have HH right here in STL also and usually get season passes, so I just wasn't sure that I wanted to spend the time/money at TL when we go to WDW. But DGD11 insists that it's worth it because of the wave pool. Sounds like you agree, so I guess I'll give in on this one!

Twice, I've had my flip flops stolen(and they were old used flip flops
) Seriously, how are you going to steal old dirty flip flops,
it's so gross. We go because we are Thrill Ride Junkies. We go, knowing what to expect, but I'm always shocked by the behavior displayed and the state of the parks.
