I've been looking at the park hours for October and for the last week it says Rehab for Typhoon Lagoon. Does this mean that it is closed and does anyone know how long it stays closed for? We're going for the last week in October and the first week in November and I was really looking forward to going to TL. :guilty:

I was going by the park hours on these pages, :confused3 but I really wanted to visit both BB and TL anyway (particularly as they are part of the 5 'extra' days on the 7 day premium tickets we've just bought!)

Do you know when the hours for November will be out and where did you get your info?

according to the official WDW website, they show TL open throughout October with nothing scheduled to be down during October....
so I don't know where you're getting this info about a rehab...

Have checked information for refurbs etc and typhoon lagoon is open 10-5 everyday in October this year. However, blizzard beach is open 10-5 until the 22nd October and then is closed for refurb. This was on allearsnet.com and as I have checked the official WDW site for October timings etc I think this is correct...

From what i can remember they are closed for refurb for a few weeks so, i wouldn't have thought it would be re open at the beginning of november.

They do it every year - it's partly for refurb, but just as much because of lower water park attendance during the winter.

One park (this year it looks like being BB) is always closed from the last week in October to sometime in December, then when it re-opens, the other one closes until the middle of February I believe. Both are then open in March and right through the summer.

when we were at BB a few weeks ago, a CM asked us if we would be willing to take some time to respond to a survey about BB...

we said yes....so he took our email address and said it would be mailed to us in a few days....

it was very long and detailed, really trying to get at problem areas at BB...

it took us about a half hour to fill it out....

hopefully, they'll make some of the changes we suggested....
