Should we hit the shark reef pool as our first thing to do in this park.....

Depends when you are going.

If it is in the middle of summer it might be a good idea. If you are going when we are slow the time of day does not matter.

I'm guessing you'd be best off hitting crush and gusher first, ride all 3 slides, then make your way to the reef. I'm by no means an expert though.
