Typhoon Lagoon or Sea World?

What would you do?? I have one day open for one of these two activities. I have the water park option (it was free w/ my package)..., and I also will have a rental car in case I decide to go to Sea World. It will be myself, DH, DD1, DM, and DDad. We have never been to either place, I really want to go to Sea World, but I also want to do the little snorkeling thing at TL.

How long do you think we would plan to spen at TL? I know Sea World would be all day.

Could I do MGM and TL on the same day?

What to do????????? I am torn!!!!!

I have not been to TL so I cannot comment on that park, but I do know that Sea World has some new shows and IMO have vamped up quite a bit in 2006. I would suggest looking on Seaworld's website to see what's happening when you'll be there.

I've been to both and I have to say they are 2 totally different things to do so it's hard to compare them. I will say I love them both.

My gut with your group might be to do Seaworld. They have a lot of great shows, cool exhibits and you can feed the dolphins. I think it will be a nice day for a varied group with a little one and grandparents.

TL is a blast but your DD would be limited to the kiddie area or edge of the wave pool. When my DS was 3 we had to split up a lot because he was too young for most of the things there. Are your parents into water slides? If they aren't then I would definately do SW.

If the adults are really into the slides and the awesome wave pool then TL is definitely fun. Shark reef is really cool too.

Can you tell I love them both?

If Money is a problem do TL it's in your plan, you will have to pay for Seaworld.

Since I am not a fan of water parks, I would go to Sea World. I feel like they have a lot of good and fun stuff there. The Clyde & SeaMore Show is extremely funny. A crowd favorite everytime.

Personally I would stay at one of the 4 parks another day, but with your 2 choices I would go Sea World, an exceptional place.
