Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

We arrive on july so it's gonna be hot. We plan on spending our 1st day in either TL or BB. Which of the two would you prefer? Becuase I've learned you can't hop from one water park to the other. So it's vital I know which of the two you'd suggest! Thanks all!

It depends on the ages and swimming abilities of your party. For younger children I suggest Typhoon Lagoon but really watch them in the wave pool, teens perfer Blizzard Beach. There are things I enjoy at both but to enjoy a longer day there I would go to Blizard Beach and for a morning I would prefer Typhoon Lagoon.

How old are your kids? Mine are 8, 9, and 14, and I think as a family we all prefer BB.

I prefer *everything* at Blizzard Beach - but the wave pool is smokin' at Typhoon Lagoon.

If I had to pick - I'd pick Blizzard Beach. I dont like greenery, and shrubs - I like concrete that looks like snow.

The Lazy River at BB is much *sunnier* than TL. Less trees to go under, and I have a weird fear of leaves in pool water. Laugh if you must - but it grosses me out.

So - I like BB - and my boys (15 & 11) prefer it, too.

i agree with BB. they have a neat little kids area, plenty of slides, and I think kids of all ages LOVE the family raft ride. we go on it 5 or 6 times every thime we go to BB! also the "ski lifts" are really neat! and just in general the theaming is so neat with the "snow" its not like a normal water park!

I like Typhoon Lagoon. The wave pool is awesome. And I just like the layout and the feel of it better.

We just took my 3 year old and to BB and all loved it! BUT we have never been to TL. So sorry, not much help. If it were to be a busy hot summer day my guess is TL would be less crowded. Just a guess.

We usually go to TL on the first day as we find it more relaxing and the crush n gusher water coaster is awesome.
