Another vote here for Typhoon Lagoon. I find it more relaxing too! Call me crazy but a snow like atmosphere isn't relaxing for me. If you go to typhoon lagoon, there is more to do for everyone that everyone will enjoy. The lazy river is awesome and goes all the way around the park and there about 5 entrance/exit points. What I like to do is go on the lazy river, float around, get off, do some of the slides and attractions in that area and then get back on the lazy river and exit at another entrance/exit point. It is especially fun if it isn't too busy. The water is warm, so even on cooler days, the water is amazing and the crowds are less busy!!! Definately swim in the salt water tank with the sharks! Definately a family thing to do! Most of the slides are fun, but not too crazy. The steepest slide is the Humunga Cowabunga, which is very fast and lots of fun!!! The Gusher Crusher (I think that's the name of it) is tucked away from most of the other slides (near the main locker area) and is like a waterslide roller coaster which again is a great ride, the waterslide goes down and the water also shoots you up the slide!!! It really is AWESOME!
Blizzard Beach was okay, but I didn't like the slides nearly as much. The chairlift up was kinda neat and the really big slide (Summitt Plummett) was fast and fun but it HURT... it is fast and VERY steep. Must faster and steeper than the one at Typhoon Lagoon.
Have a great time!
