Typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach with a 7 year old?

Hi all me and my husband have recently booked flights and villa for our planned wdw trip in September. We will be going with our two sons aged 10 and 7

We are starting to plan and looking at going to one of the water parks however we have not been to either so not sure which one would be better for our 7 year old?

Does anyone have any thoughts which would be more suitable

If you have 14 day tickets then I would definitely say to go to both. They are both great and have different things to offer. We love the water parks and in a three week trip we would probably go 8 times. Typhoon Lagoon has the best waves but Blizzard Beach has the best kids area and best family ride. So if you really can only go to one, I would go for Blizzard Beach given your children's ages.

Blizzard Beach is our favourite out of the two. Our DD is 6 and enjoys BB more so that would be my recommendation if you only want to do one.

TL is ok we just prefer the rides at BB and the less rough wave pool. Plus Teamboat springs at BB is the best ride for the whole family

I'd do both definitely with kids that age.

If you do one blizzard beach - the kids area where they walk across icebergs and the zipline bit will be a big hit.

Yes I would definitely try and fit both in if you can, they are both well worth a visit!
