typhoon lagoon late afternoon into H2O glow nights

Do you think that it would beneficial (i know the cost involved) to go to Typhoon Lagoon in the late afternoon and stay through H2O glow nights? Or would you have plenty of time to really enjoy the park and ride the water rides if you just did the glow nights getting there at 7? It would be with 2 12 year olds and 1 8 year old.

My kids are younger so that likely plays into my opinion/strategy, but we’re not going to go until after 7. We’re going to eat a good dinner at the resort, then head over.
