Typhoon Lagoon in February

We have been, actually I have been, to the water parks numerous times, but always in the warmer months.

When we go in February we have WP and more tickets thanks to the military deal. My wife says she wants to go this time. How is TL in February? We can pick and choose days based on weather since we will be there for the entire month. What are your opinions on this time of the year? We have been to Disney in February a few times so we have a general idea of what the weather will be like. TIA

I do miss River Country though. It was my favorite.

We keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) except for Shark Reef which does not have heaters. What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.

If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.

But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.

I can't even imagine going to a water park when it's that cold! I'm from Alaska, and I still need it to be 95*+ outside to get in the water. (I know some of my immediate family members would be swimming when it's 55*, though.)

OP, I went to Typhoon Lagoon at the end of February this year. It was definitely warm enough (low 80s) and not crowded. The temps did drop as the week wore on, so 'm glad we switched our plans and decided on a water park day at the last minute.
