Typhoon Lagoon closed?

Someone just came into my office and told me that they had heard the Typhoon Lagoon was closed for renovations....please tell me it isn't so!!!

I wouldn't panic. They just opened with a new water coaster so I suspect your coworker didn't have his information correct.

Both water parks close (at different times) in the winter for annual maintenance. This year, TL was closed a bit longer than usual to install the Crush'n'Gusher. Both parks are open, and will be open all summer as usual.

Thank goodness....my kids (and me of course) would have been so upset if we couldn't go to TL ! Thanks

Typhoon Lagoon reopened from it's yearly renovation the beginning of March. Each of the water parks close for 2 to 3 months during the winter for renovations. Last year, Blizzard Beach was closed from November through mid December, and Typhoon Lagoon was closed from mid December through the beginning of March so they could complete the new attraction "Slusher Gusher". Unless you are going during the winter, you won't have to worry about either of the 2 water parks being closed, unless they are closed to capacity.

I was there on Sunday 4/24 and it was opened and we had fun!
