Is it ok to bring a cooler with water and possibly some snacks to typhoon lagoon?

Yes. I was just there a couple of weeks ago and I saw people actually wheeling in big hard sided coolers. I think the only restriction is no alcoholic beverages and no glass containers.

Go ahead.............our is filled with sandwiches, sweet and salty snacks, water, soda, and fruit drinks. As stated earlier--no glass and no alcohol.

Absolutely. We took ours in two weeks ago with sandwiches, chocolate and veggies in it. We bought the refillable mugs so we didn't take any drinks. I just don't know if there is a size limit.

We brought our big hardsided cooler with wheels in June. Filled with sandwiches and a case of water bottles.

The water parks don't have the same restrictions that the 4 main parks have.

Its pretty much anything goes size wise for the WPs. Last time we took an entire lunch.

Just so you know you can also bring coolers into the major parks, same no alcohol or glass but they have to be under a certain size and not on wheels of any type.

I actually saw someone with one of those huge coolers selling bottles of water and sodas out of it to the guests at BB. I heard someone say she was doing it to cover the cost of her tickets. I thought it was a very shady thing to do, I wanted to point it out to a CM but just minded my own business. Hopefully she got caught.

At the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK) coolers are restricted to "small, soft-sided, which can fit in a locker". And they cannot be rolling bags.

The only restrictions that apply to all parks (theme and water) are nothing in glass containers (other than medicines and baby food) and no alcoholic beverages.

Some things people don't think about (which tend to be in glass) are pickles, salsa, Mayonaise, Starbucks drinks, Snapple drinks, Tabasco.

At the water parks any type or size cooler is acceptable. I have seen people come through the gate (Typhoon Lagoon) hauling wheeled coolers about 4' x 3' x 2½'. Note that the cooler can be on two wheels or carried, but the way the rules are written you can not have it in a wagon and it cannot have four wheels.

If you show up at the gate with prohibited items we will give you three choices:
(1) Take prohibited items back to your car or resort.
(2) Put prohibited items in the nearby trash can.
(3) (Only for other than alcoholic beverages) If you have plastic bags or cups you can dump the items out of the glass containers and throw away the container.

Can you bring a hard sided cooler (on 2 wheels) to the water parks on the bus or do you have to have your own vehicle? (we will be going in Sept so the crowds will not be huge at that time of year)
