Would you even bother with TL at 7 months pregnant? Is there much to do other than the waterslides? I won't be able to do water slides at all. (We just went to Splashin Safari in IN this past weekend and LOVED it. They had lazy rivers and wave pools.) So we are contemplating doing a day at TL this October providing its not too cold. Just my DH and my DS3 and me. Plus, is there much for DS3 to do there? I've been doing a little research on TL and it sounds awesome but just wondering how much I'll be able to do? We have pluses on our hoppers so we'd just have to pay for DS3. Worth using a plus day for it?

I could spend all day on the lazy river, and both dd loved the kids area.

First of all, congratulations!
I have not yet been to either of the waterparks, but from the research I've done I think TL will be the better park for you. More focus on a tropical paradise with a wave pool and lazy river than BB, which I've read is more about the giant slides. I think there's a fair amount your little guy can do, too.
I hope you have a terrific vacation! Go slow, drink lots of water and remember, you're eating Mickey bars for two now. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the well wishes! :flower3:

And it sounds so far like you would both go to TL in my condition. Thanks for the replies!:yay:

The lazy river would be wonderful but I would definitely avoid the wave pool if the giant waves are crashing. Those waves can really give a nasty push even when you think you are prepared. The kids area is great and we really like the pool near the Crush N' Gusher water coaster. It is a bit out of the way and it has never been busy when we were there. It isn't very deep but it is lovely to relax in!:goodvibes

I have to agree... I was thinking the same thing about the wave pool. The waves at TL are up to 6 feet and they're pretty overwhelming even if you're in the shallow part. But I think you'd really enjoy the lazy river. It's just a nice relaxing time and you can go around it several times without getting bored. I think your son will love the kids' area, but he'll also probably enjoy going around the lazy river with you (or you can take a break while DH goes off to the kiddie area with DS).

We went to Typhoon Lagoon when I was 5 months pregnant. The rest of the family enjoyed the slides while I floated along the lazy river all day. I have to say that was one of my favorite days that vacation.

Psssst. Get the hot little donuts. Yum.

Depending on how tall your 3yo is, BB might be better. The lazy river there is 30", compared to 36" at TL. My DD at almost-4 could touch the bottom at BB, and was much happier once she knew that if she fell in she wouldn't be helpless.

(I really preferred the BB lazy river theming, too, and felt like Tike's Peak was a lot more kid-friendly than Ketchakidee.)

And your OBGYN is even approving you getting on a plane during the last trimester let alone do a park, water or otherwise??

Or is this the Disney will of your child-to-be talking?

October could be tough, but Lazy river has your name all over it and you will be in heaven. Why not let DH let you relax a litlle  :flower3: while he takes care of the little one:cheer2: :scared: . Anyhow good luck! Let the weather decide. I am pregnant too and wish I was going again before the baby comes, but don't think that is going to happen!

Absolutely. I went at 7 months pregnant with my first child too. My OBGYN has no problems with me flying either. She encouraged me to go to WDW and on the plane with my first one. I'd never go if she didn't okay it first. Thanks!:wave2:
