I just replied to an post about Alcohol and got me thinking- What are the types of liquors in the call brands packages?

From my & my parent's guesses, It's 4 different types of Whiskey, 2 rum, 1 gin & 1 vodka. Why so many Whiskeys in the call brands package?:confused3 or do I have this wrong

Anyone ever customize a bar menu?

Sorry I don't think I asked my question clearly and this might sound stupid:rotfl: I have the package lists - but what I was looking for is what types of liqour are these names?

Like Barcardi, Captain is rum. Skyy is vodka. But What are all those other ones???:confused3

I'm a Barcardi Silver malt drinker or Cosmo/Martini/Bay Breeze/ Capt' N Coke kinda chicky

I think this is what you wanted to know.

My DF and his friends are Jack Daniels drinkers. It does not list Jack Daniels on the paper work Diseny sent me but I see that you have it on your list under premium brands. We are looking to do call brands but will they substiute one of the alcohols out and let us have Jack Daniels? if not, I saw in your wedding guide-which is FANTASTIC by the way-that you can bring your own bottle if you want. can we "cork" it ourselves and not pay the $20 bottle fee. I mean it is basically just twisting the cap off and one of my GM will do that and want the bottle near by-lol. I understand the $2.50 per drink for soda, etc to be added in but if we have the per person bar does that $2.50 still apply since we are giving the bottle to the bartender? It also says Disney assesses a 21% service charge if the bottle is opened at the event. What if it is already opened and we bring it? I know these are strange questions, but I am kind of curious. ANy insite would be great :)

These are all good questions! From what I understand, there is no way to get around the corkage fee just like there's no way to get around the cake-cutting fee even if you insisted on cutting the cake yourself. (The cake-cutting fee is usually rolled into the price they quote you for the cake - don't anyone freak out if no one's mentioned it to you! ;) )

I'm fairly certain they won't let you bring in already-opened liquor due to their health regulations. And I'm not quite sure what you mean about the $2.50, but I can say that a good rule of thumb is Disney will attempt to charge you for as much as they can. :rotfl: However, depending on the prices they charge for certain brands and what you can get them for yourself, you may still be able to save money by bringing your own - even with all those fees! :thumbsup2
