Type of Wine - Name ???

I hope someone can help me. We went to Garden Grill for Thanksgiving dinner and I had (I thought) a glass of Beringer White Zinfindel. Might have been a Chablis. But it was one of the best glasses of wine I have had in a long time.

I don't drink any reds and usually will just drink a white or a white zin. Now I can't remember what it was exactly. I am pretty sure it was a Beringer.

If someone knows I would appreciate the exact name.

I don't know because I've never eaten at that restaurant, but Beringer's does make a really good White Zinfandel. It's usually only about 7.99 for a 750ml bottle. So, you should try it either way.

What color was it? Beringer (or any) white zinfandel will be pink (rose) in color. Chablis will be white. If it was pink, it was probably Beringer's White Zinfandel.

was it more red than white - there's also a white merlot which is a good "red" for the summer

Actually I do think it was white, not pink, because I remember thinking it was odd that it wasn't pink like most white zins are.

I recently bought a Beringer Select, which was 80% white zin & 20% chardonay (sp). That wasn't too bad, but still not the same. I will try and see if we happened to keep the receipt for dinner that night.
