Two wks at WDW with a 4 mo or 16 mo?

Our first family trip was when my daughter was 16 months old, had just broken her leg so she had a cast, and she was a harder baby. It was great! She had a blast!

I'm still laughing at all the supposedly "not easy" babies. They sure sound easier than DS was! ;) He was really particular where and how he napped (all the planets had to be in alignment and I stood on my head and whistled dixie.). And if he couldn't nap, he'd just scream instead. "Happiest Place on Earth," I think not! :rotfl:

Praying for an easy sleeper! :thumbsup2

The reason I said DS wasn't easy is because we had a whole bunch of issues. He was a reflux baby and we had to give him meds and elevate his mattress and all those "great" things. He also spent the first year of his life only napping in the car...and the car had to be moving. We couldn't even just stop the car and take him out because he would start screaming. That's why I LOVED taking him on Pirates. Something about that queue just made him doze right off. It was magic! He also didn't STTN until he was after a year old.
That first trip, we stayed at AKL and put his pnp in the bathroom area and set up one of the chairs all comfy so that when he woke up at night, I could be comfortable (I was never able to get the hang of the whole feeding in bed thing). There was no way he would sleep in the bed with us because of the having to be raised up and because when he would, he would only sleep if he was on top of me and I was on top of DH, so guess who was the only one getting sleep?

I'm also really hoping for the 2nd kid to be the easy one. LOL

What we found was that Disney just made him tired. I think it was just all the newness of it all. :)

We've seen all ages at Disney and have "almost" 3 year old boys. In a long line I'd rather manage with the kid who can stand in line on his own steam than a baby you'll have to carry everywhere. Just my opinion though. I've seen people waiting in long lines with some heavy babies:) We waited till ours could walk (but would still tolerate a stroller ride) and were glad we did. That said, we'll never know if we might have missed out on some precious memories with our just beginning to laugh 4 month old twins. Have a great trip however you decide; sorry I wasn't much help with deciding;)
