I'm having a hard time getting excited. DH and I have been remodeling our dining room and we are getting out of town guests for Thanksgiving so we've really been working non-stop on it the last few weeks. We are also cooking Thanksgiving dinner ourselves for the first time ever so needless to say we have been under a lot of stress and pressure.

I just feel like we have so much on our plates and then this trip in 2 wks and I can't get in the mood!! I've barely done any prep work and just feel so out of sorts!!

I need some of that Disney magic!!! :wizard:

Help!!

Just get through one thing at a time. After the hulabaloo of Thanksgiving, maybe it will be easier to start thinking about the upcoming trip. We're leaving in 13 days, and I feel the same way. :goodvibes

P.S. My DD is a Charlotte, too!

me too  i had done all my planning early on, and put everything off, now i feel like i am forgetting things, and not sure what to do next.

I was looking for some planning sheets but can't find the ones i wanted her. Someone posted some neat ones, for organizing ADR/Travel itinerary etc, but i forgot to save the link, and i want to get organized now

Me too!!

We are having Thanksgiving for the first time in our home. I am super excited about it (we do not have to travel:goodvibes), but I am feeling stressed about having to cook everything myself. Also, it will be the first Thanksgiving celebrated without my mom- we lost her to breast cancer. I am looking forward to starting a new tradition with my family, but at the same time, it is going to be so different without my mom.

We are leaving for WDW/Universal on Dec. 7. I haven't packed a thing. I am waiting to see what the weather might hold. If it is going to be chilly, we are all going to need a few more pairs of jeans. I am really looking forward to our trip, but I also feel stressed not knowing exactly what we are going to need.

I homeschool my three children. Right now, they are eating lunch. I would so love to call it a day and prepare for Thanksgiving, but between our Disney trip and Christmas, I know we are going to do very little school throughout the month of December.

Just try to relax and take it one day at time! I am sure that after Thanksgiving, Disney magic will excite and motivate us!

I am doing the same thing- worry, worry, worry, run run run!!

I planned early and now with the holidays quickly approaching feel like I am going to forget to do something important!

anyone have any links to planning sheets for ADR's, travel plans etc, I really want to print some off where i can write in all the info on reservations, hotel info, flight info, etc.

I some before but i lost all my data from my computer crash last week. Luckily my adr emails were saved in my hotmail so i can still access them.

My wife is not a Disney Lover:confused3 she tolerates it because Disney is my only VICE:lmao:. Anyway I recently was downsized . So things are a little tight .:sad2: Well that just made my wife feel like Squidward from Spongebob/Squarepants :) . Flight/Food & Accomondations(DVC) already paid for I just have to get two more 7 day passes for the kids so my thoughts are we might as well have a great time with the kids (Wifes' B-day is during our trip) we can take care of business and become worry warts when we get home. The kids understand that they cant have everything like the used to :rotfl2: but fun we will have:santa: My dad passed away last year but he always told me to go on vacation because being with the kids will always relieve stress. We will be there in two weeks how I can get her to feel better  . :cool1: heck I am the one who had thier job taken away I should be the one .I tried to tell her that careers will come and go but my wife :worship: completes me and we will be OK .

Also stressed. Trying to wrap up everything at work while not forgetting anything for our trip.

Thank, Taurus8012, for putting things in perspective.

Wow only 13 days and counting. We haven't packed a thing, we have QSDP but haven't decided to upgrade to DDP yet.We still need two passes and trying to decide if I should send a box of goodies to the villa..............so little time :thumbsup2:rotfl2::banana::woohoo: Dec.11th cant get here fast enough woo hoo:goodvibes:cloud9::yay:

Wow, just when I thought I had alot on my plate:laundy: Sending you guys good vibes :goodvibes & well wishes :wizard: this holiday season and for magical trips to WDW. Remember, it's a vaction so relax and go w/ the flow. It will all work out

OP here! I have to post back and tell you we got our dining room done with 1 day to spare, Thanksgiving went off without a hitch, dinner was great and we had a fun weekend with our guests....I've finally calmed down and have been getting last minute things we need for the trip. We are 5 days out and I still haven't pulled out the suitcases but I think I might do that today!

We've only been one other time but I'm not sure how I feel about going this time a year. It just seems crazy to try to fit a vacation in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's already stressful enough and I feel like I can't enjoy the planning and anticipation because of all the other things going on.

I'm hoping we'll be blown away by all the Christmas decorations, the better weather, crowds, etc...which will make going this time of year worthwhile!
