Two Waitlist Matches Within 24 Hours

Hello everyone,

Earlier this week, I started thinking that it might be nice to attend the opening weekend of Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. Although most of the resorts had no availability, a few had one or two nights available. I decided to dream big and take my chances with BLT (studio lake), booking the second and fourth nights and waitlisting the first and third.

Well, within 24 hours of submitting my waitlist requests, both came through and I now have a continuous reservation for the first weekend of the festival. Needless to say, we are very excited

It was completely unexpected, first one e-mail confirmation and then the second followed shortly thereafter.

I took a greater risk, OKW or AKV-K would likely have been safer, and it actually worked out!

I have a BWV stay coming up. I booked in late January, in a 1 bedroom at Kidani, but waitlisted and got a studio at BWV. This is what we really wanted, it's a short stay and we do not need a kitchen or W/D in the room. It is a visit primarily for F & G . It all came through quite quickly, too!
