Two trips a month apart - two tickets, how will this work with MDE/FP+

Hi All,

If you'll indulge me in my newbie-to-MDE questions I would be ever so grateful.

So, here's my situation:
DH and I are going down in November for The Wine and Dine half marathon weekend and will be getting 3 or 4 day park tickets via RunDisney. We are staying on a friend's DVC points for this trip.

Then in December we are going down as a family staying at Fort Wilderness, room only reservations so we still need to get park tickets. I'm planning on getting them via Undercover Tourist, hoppers but regular expiration.

I have both stays showing on MDE now, so I'm set with seeing them and with our magic bands on order.

So, here's my series of questions:
1. Do you have to have park tickets linked to your MDE in order to make FP+ reservations at 60 days?

2. If I link both the November rD tickets and the December UT tickets to our MDE, how will the turnstyles know which tickets to draw from?

and depending on the answers to those:

3. Should I wait until after our November trip to link the UT tickets for December?

4. If we wait until after our November trip to link the tickets for December, will I be missing out on making FP+ reservations for December at the 60 day window?

Ugh, trying to keep an open mind about the FP+ thing! positive thoughts...positive thoughts...

1. Yes, you need tickets linked to make FP+s.

2. You can have your tickets prioritized by calling or at guest relations when you are there.

3. Only if you want to.

4. Yes
