Two Strollers or One?

DH, me, DD 6, 4, & 7mo (at time) will be staying 10 days on site. First two days in POR and then over to BCV. I think we should bring the sit & stand stroller as well as the nice, light weight umbrella just in case we need a place for all of them to sit. I also think it would help with the "stuff" during airport travel.
The baby does not fully recline in the sit & stand which may make those cat naps hard. Also there may be a day where we don't need the double (being so close at BCV).

I have taken babies to Disney many times before & I do plan on taking it easy...going with the flow of the baby's/kids moods. However, I am also one of those plan for the worst case senerio people...

We will also be with a family group. There may be times we need to split up the kids and having two strollers would be great for that situation as well.

Anyone with any advice on this particular question? I find this is be the best place to work through these questions...TIA! :flower3:

We're going with kids aged 6.5, 3.5 and 11 months. We're taking a single that reclines all the way in case needed for naps for the baby. Also, I'm using a sling. This way, the 3.5 year old can use the stroller most of the time. My 6.5 year old is too big for our stroller so he's going to have to walk - which I don't find unreasonable though some people wouldn't agree.

Our last two trip were with a baby and 3 year old. The stroller/sling combo worked great.

I'm in almost the same situation (minus 1 kid). We'll be going with a 4 year old and a 7 month old, and trying to decide if I'm going to rent a double stroller or if I'll take my Bumbleride Flyer and just carry her in my Ergo if the 4yo gets tired and needs to ride.

I am also in the same situation DD4 1/2 and DD 8mos at the time dont know if I should buy a double or take both our singles its just so much stuff to lugg uhg! I don't want to spend too much money on a double wish I could find something in between for both my girls.

Same situation here! I'm trying to think of a stroller solution for our trip in June. We will have DS6, DS 4, and DD 11 months. We are leaning towards our lightweight Combi umbrella stroller over the sit 'n stand. I'm planning to take my Maya wrap and/or bjorn to switch off the stroller with the baby & 4 yr old. The non-reclining sit n stand just doesn't work for the baby to nap! I'm very afraid of making the wrong decision! I'll be watching the responses to this thread too!

We bought the sit & stand when we went when DD were 3 & 18mo. The 18mo old HATED being in the stroller. :headache:The 3 year old was fine because she could jump on & off. Not always a good thing.

When we went when they were 3 & 5 the sit & stand double was GREAT! This was the perfect age for this stroller.

For this trip I am also going to take the baby carrier &/or the backpack? She is already 20lbs & we are still a month away!

I agree about all the stuff. I even hate to carry a diper bag! I just don't want to get down there & say I wish I had...

I have read great things about the out of the park rentals, not such great reports about the park strollers. This is hear say. We have never rented.
One other thred strongly suggested taking everything (sling, carrier, backpack, stroller...) you could for the babies. It seems to keep them happier to have different ways to travel. (Just like me! :lmao:)

This is where we were the first time we took the girls (3 1/2 & 18 mo at the time). (My husband was upset about buying the double stroller. He kept saying I can't believe we are buying a stroller for a trip to disney.
As I was reading him the responses to the thred he said "That stroller has been to Disney 3 times?")
Sorry off topic!
Your situation is why I went with the sit & stand double stroller. I cannot say enough good things about it. I have used it more than any other stroller. The design is perfect for your kids' ages. They are not terribly expensive. Not like a Maclaren (which I would love to have!). Check them out.

For our upcoming trip we decided to take just a single stoller for our almost 3yo and 4.5yo. But just in case we are taking a second umbrella stroller that we plan to keep in the car. I am hoping the girls will be happy just taking turns in the stroller:goodvibes
