Two rooms or two bedroom hosp suite or other?

I'm looking way ahead of time here, but we are discussing a trip to Universal probably summer of 2009. On the trip will be five adults and one child, aged 6.

I have stayed and loved Portofino, and that or Royal Pacific would be my choices, but it is clear we will need two rooms. Are there any recommendations to the hospitality two-bedroom suite and how it may compare costwise to two separate rooms? Since suite rates are not listed online, I have no idea how it would compare costwise to two separate rooms. I don't mind a higher rate as long as it is not astronomical.
