We actually rented DVC points for a 2 bedroom and studio for my parents. Kids ranged in age from 4 - 11, so pretty much everyday some went to the pool, some napped, some walked to another park (stayed at the BC, so walking distance to Epcot and DHS). We would even split for some evenings, with my parents taking the kitties to MK for a parade, while DH and I took the bigs to Epcot for some sushi.Did you do two rooms? Which resort did you stay in?
I guess that it a good follow-up question. Which resorts are good to have 2 rooms at in? Not asking for attached rooms, but close enough that it is a good experience.
My parents (who lived a mile from us, and saw my kids daily) said they were very happy to have their own space, because if you are not used to kids 24/7, it's an adjustment. There is no way we would have survived being forced together the entire week.
As for driving, if my family of 7 are traveling more than 2 hours, we split up into 2 minivans, and are much happier.
