Hello, this is the first time to Disney for my wife and I. Could you guys recommend at least one or two fun restuarants that we shouldn't miss out on?

I would suggest the Prime Time 50's and O'hana's a WDW "fun" restaurant.

Wow, ewags, I'm so jealous. Looking for fun, are ya?

Another vote for 'Ohana and 50's Prime Time, especially 'Ohana. Of course, any character meal is gonna be fun - I'd give the nod to Liberty Tree Tavern in MK.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a lot of fun, but you'll get some who would not agree.

If you want a little more sophistication with your fun, try Marrakesh at Epcot (fun being the belly dancer). The Biergarten serves up some entertainment, too.

For more fun, a lot of folks swear by Chef Mickey's. I like it for breakfast, but it's kinda expendable otherwise, methinks.

Have a blast!

50's Prime Time, also the Garden Grill in Epcot is good. The Garden Grill is quiet but has good character interacation.

Another vote for '50s Prime Time. If you get into the whole playacting part, it can be a hoot.

I also liked SciFi Diner for lunch because I enjoy the darkened room with cartoons and movie trailers on the the drive-in movie screen. That was fun to watch.

And Boma at AKL is a great buffet.

50's Primetime! Food is good and the interaction is FUN!!
We also love LeCellier!...it is not exactly fun, but the food is wonderful!!

We always enjoy BOMA - great food and we've always had waiters that are funny and enjoy talking. Another fav is 'OHANA
:)

Another vote for O'Hana's at the Poly. If you are looking for a romantic dinner and willing to splurge pricewise, both the Artist Point and Flying Fish Cafe are fantastic- great atmosphere, fantastic food and wine lists. Especially if you're tired of crowds, crying children, etc., these are both good escapes.

Thanks for the replies:)

Is 50's Primetime the restaurant where you eat in the old cars?

No, the cars are at Sci-Fi. 50's you're eating in "mom's kitchen"

If I was choosing only two restaurants at WDW, I would go with Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort and Restaurant Marrakesh at the Morocco Pavilion. The belly dancers and music alone make Marrakesh a wonderful eating experience!

Gosh! Only 2 choices! The only place my husband & I have eaten that I would term "fun" is the Sci-Fi (we had lunch there) & we asked to be seated in one of the cars (they also have seating at regular tables). I've heard great things about 50's Prime Time as being a fun place, also Whispering Canyon Cafe (the servers at these places play a certain role). As another board said, any character meal would be fun.

Now for some of our favorites (maybe more along the lines of excellent food & great atmosphere: Jiko's at AKL (romantic, fantastic food, great service), Artist's Point at WL, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. We've also heard great things about California Grill - our next place to try!

For "fun" I would not miss Whispering Canyon at WL and 50's PrimeTime at DS. These are good if you are looking for interaction from the CM's and they also have good food!

For something more "adult" and romantic. DH and I love Artist Point and Jiko. Amazing cuisine!
