Two reservations ?

We are two couples with two different/ separate hotel reservations, both with dining plans.

Is it possible to be seated at same table service restaurant?
Can we make a reservation on line? How ? Just making ONLY ONE RESERVATION for 4 persons?

Or the system will check the consistency between our hotel reservation (for 2) and the restaurant reservation for 4 ?

I made reservations for 10 when there were only 5 in my room, there was no issue with it.

Make one reservation for four persons if you wish to eat together.

The restaurant reservation system does not care how many people are registered in your room. Any dining plan issues will not be relevant until you pay for the meal. Before ordering, make sure you tell the server that you are using two separate dining plans and which meals should be billed to each plan.

Exactly this. Make sure when you get your bill that it's done correctly as it's harder to try and fix up a day or more later if you notice an issue then.
