Two Reservations at the Same Hotel

So, I'm traveling to my happy place (Disneyland!!) next week with girlfriends for a girl trip! We're participating in Tinkerbell Half weekend!

I originally booked our stay at Paradise Pier from Thursday to Monday, but then we all decided (last-minute) to add Wednesday night to the stay and give up our room at the Fairfield Inn.

RunDisney didn't have any availability for Wednesday night (I made the hotel reservation through them for Thursday-Monday), but the regular ole Disneyland site had rooms available for Wednesday night - so I booked it!

Long story short - has anyone had two reservations at the same hotel, and did you have to change rooms? I've asked that both reservations be noted with the other reservation in hopes that we can just stay in the same room.

Any additional advice would be helpful!

If you booked the same type of rooms for both resos then just call disney and they should be able to combine the two into one reservation.

I tried that, but apparently RunDisney reservations don't show up for the main reservation people and vice-versa. Also, via RunDisney, I was only able to make a choice if I needed an accessible room, which I didn't. My RunDisney room rate is the same as the room I booked via Disneyland, so I'm hoping they're the same category, but nobody can really tell me anything other than they'd make a note in each reservation to look for the other one.

Le sigh.

I've done this a few times at other hotels and I simply told the person who checked me in. Most of the time I didn't have to do anything, but once I had to check-out and then recheck-in. I've never had to switch rooms, though.

The run disney rooms are standard. That stinks that they can't put them together, how odd. When you arrive and explain your situation I'm sure they will make every effort to make sure you don’t need to change rooms. We've always had great CM's willing to accommodate every need. Good luck at the race!
