Hi all!

We are soooooo excited to be going to Universal for the first time this summer!

Q1: I read in the unofficial guide that some rides/shows open after 10 am. Is this true and if so, which one's usually open later. We will be staying onsite, but I figured being the summer we still needed to get there at park opening.

Q2: My DD is 19 and her BF is coming who is 21. Are there any events in City Walk that she will be able to go to (and not drink of course!). Most of the clubs I read about say 21 and over, which is fine....just wondering if any would be suitable for her.

That's it for now...but wanted to say thanks for so much info already....I've been lurking!;)

they usually have a group on at Citywalk, every evening we have been there in July, and usally have a good time there, our DD is 13.

I'm not sure the answer to your question but as far as needing to be there at park opening, it's not necessary when staying onsite and we were there at Christmas time. This will be a very relaxing vacation for you!

Like Pixieegrl says, no need to be at the park for opening when staying onsite, we go to park opening once or twice during our stay so DD can ride the front of DDs and Hulk, other than that , we spend a lot of time at the pool and hit the parks late afternoon or evening mostly.
Not all rides are opened , but could not tell you which ones, i remember Suess was not opened as we cut through that way to DDs, but by the time we came back everything was opened.

As far as I can remeber the shows that are not open when th park first opens is T2, Twister and Bettle juice but pretty much all the rides are open if I am not mistaken.
