Two questions re: buying direct

When adding points direct through Disney...1). Are there closing costs or any hidden costs? 2). If I use my Disney Visa, is the 6 month payment plan automatic, or do I have to arrange that through Chase? Thank you.

I believe that DVC has started charging closing costs on add-ons. The 0% when using the Disney Visa should be automatic.

To get the Visa deal, your Guide has to process your purchase correctly using a special code or it will be a regular charge on your account.

Just wanted to post a follow-up to my question. There is a closing fee for buying direct...in my case, $136 on a 25 point add-on ($99 a pt) at SSR. Thank you for your responses.
