We have an 8:10am ADR for Crystal Palace breakfast for my daughters 16th birthday on Dec 14th 2007.

1. I read somewhere about someone celebrating their birthday and they had pixie dust all over the table because of this. When I made the reservation should I have mentioned it was for a birthday? Does it make a difference?

2. Since your in the park before rope drop is it possible to run over to space mountain and get a fast past so we can ride it immediately after breakfast?

Stupid questions but I am curious.
Thanks in advance

I would definately call back and make sure to add to your reservations that it is her birthday. And, make sure to tell them when you check in at the podium also. We did this for my 45th birthday a few years ago and I received pixie dust on the table, a Magical Moments Certificate stating it was my birthday and a special desert cupcake with a candle in it. Make sure to get her a birthday button also. You can get this at any customer relations desk at one of the Disney resorts or in any of the parks. In MK they give them out at City Hall. There used to be different ones for the different parks but I believe they are now all the same. Make sure she wears it for your vacation. Don't tell her she will get special things (in case she doesn't) but I received alot of nice surprises. Also mention it at your hotel if you are staying on Disney property. I received a signed photo of Mickey and Minnie wishing me a Happy Birthday and balloons.

As far as the fastpass goes, I do not think they start giving them out until the parks opens. Not sure about this. I am sure there is someone else that can help you with this.

FP not available until the park opens plus the area is roped off.

My b-day at CM they put Mickey head confetti all over the table and a special placemat

Like someone already said - Keep in mind that if you do not get any special treatment, do not feel depressed about it. All these special treatment are optionals and totally depend on the CMs at the time. There are no hard and fast rules as to what you can get on your birthday, anniversary, etc.

Well, there is - you can always get birthday buttons from the customer service desk in front of each park. My DD3 at the time collected all 4 in one day. But that's the only sure thing :)

We celebrated my DD's 13th birthday at CP. There was confetti on the table, a special cupcake, and a birthday card signed by all of the characters. :) I would definately call back and have them "flag" the reservation. My daughter was VERY surprised by the extra attention!

ok. so we will be there for my 32nd birthday. i was planning on doing this breadfast to get into the park early for good shots of the castle. are the photographers out that early? will i be able to get a pic of all of us in front of the castle without tons of people in it?
