First, does anyone know when the info for 2006 will come out (or about when the info usually becomes available)?

Second, will a 15 month old have a good time at MNSSHP or is it geared towards older kids?

DH and I have never been to MNSSHP and we're taking DS for his first trip this October and thought we'd check it out.

TIA!

I dont know if they have released the 2006 dates yet, I bought my tickets the first week in May last year.

2005 was our first time to MNSSHP and I saw many young (under 2 yrs) children there all dressed up for the party, my advice to you is dont put your child in a heavy costume, it was still in the mid 80's that week and some children were miserable and sweating with very red faces.

To us it was just another day at MK, nothing special except the parade and the free candy....I would not spend the money to do the party again. The park was super crowded too, just like a normal night.

We went last Oct. The party dates were released in April.

My kids are older (9, 6, & 4) at the time & they loved it. We saw babies dressed up too & I agree with the OP that you must dress light since it's still warm at night. It was in the 80's the night we went.

If your little one like the characters & likes candy (trick or treating) I'd go. There are alot of meet & greets where you can have your kids picture taken with the characters in costume. However the party runs til midnight & my 6 year old only made it to 10pm so not sure how long your little one would hang on to make it worth the party admission.

I think your little one would like it. Trick-or-treating and seeing the characters in their "costumes".

Tickets last year went on sale April 30th. In 2004 they went on sale May 1st so start watching the boards in April.

There is always an unofficial release of dates a couple weeks prior to going on sale.

I think you're little one will have a good time. We were there this past Oct 31 and we had a blast. We'll be back around the same time this year for our wedding and planned our arrival date around the 31st so we could all go to the parade. We prepared ourselves for crowds so we just focused on getting a good seat for the parade and people watched. We noticed that after the parade the park immediately got less busy (which I thought was silly since people you pay an additional $35 to get in there, but whatever) so I think it's all the attitude you have going into it. If you're into Halloween I think it's worth it.
