Just the regular stuff. BWV have stackable washers & dryers - NOT the HE kind. You'll get a 1 load box of TIDE to get you started.

Second.....where do i park when i first get to BWV to check in? we ll get there at 8am

You can drive right up to the entrance if you want to unload your luggage. Then you can park while the rest of the family checks in or waits for you with the luggage.

If you don't have a lot of luggage, just park - the self-parking lot is just past the entrance. You'll take a right. The CM at the entrance can give you directions if you need them, but really, it's pretty obvious.

People who are regulars here are probably going to get sick of me posting this, but here's what I learned the hard way when I stayed at BWV in March:

The new washers in the rooms at the BoardWalk Villas have a safety feature. Once you start a load and close the lid on the washer, you cannot open the lid until several minutes after the wash is finished. There is no sign or instructions on this. People don’t know about this safety feature, try to get their laundry out too early, assume the lid is stuck, and smash it open. This breaks a switch. The next person won't be able to do laundry until an electrician comes to the room to replace the broken the switch.

OP,
Are you staying in a studio and using the public washers? If so, they are HE washers so it is best not to use regular detergent in them. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas have non-HE washers.

Regarding the safety switch on the stackable units, our unit last week had the latch taped over and the lid was slightly bent from someone forcing the lid up. The washer did work okay. It is so pathetic that a note has not been posted on these washers to let people know about the delay in being able to open the lid after the cycle ends.
