Two pirate nights on 10-night or longer sailings?

We're on the 10-nt Eastern on the Magic in July. Someone from our FB group reached out to DCL for the different theme or dress codes each night. The list they gave had two pirate nights - night 5 (with deck party) and night 8 (no deck party).

Anyone who has done a longer sailing before ever experience this? Do they actually have two pirate nights? And if so, was it the same pirate menu?

If the cruise an actual "10" night cruise there should be only one pirate night. If the cruise is actually 2 separate cruises (back to back), each leg will have a pirate night.

I was on the westbound TransAtlantic last November. Only one Pirate Night as I remember but two fireworks shows? But maybe I just purposely missed the 2nd show. Once was enough. Two fireworks was cool though. 13 nights.

If the cruise an actual "10" night cruise there should be only one pirate night. If the cruise is actually 2 separate cruises (back to back), each leg will have a pirate night.

It's an actual 10-night. Found it very strange they are listing two pirate nights. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being some type of error.

Done plenty of long cruises (8 tas, spc, hawaii, 12n northern European capitals when that still had pirates, a long med onze and never had that happen! Quite the opposite on my last Hawaii one they even had pirate night on

I have had cruises longer than the typical 7 nights (10, 12 and 14), and so far have never seen two pirates night or a special MDR menu repeated. On the longer sailings, I have seen the Frozen deck party as the 2nd show, with the Frozen menu (for example). Now, it does not mean that DCL is not mixing things up... for whatever reason. The one reason why I could see two pirates focused day in some form is that the cruise is quite port intensive in the middle, so having another pirates focused day during a day at sea could allow for more interactions with the characters they have out on Pirates Night.

Just wanted to say we watched the 10:15pm pirate show on deck on the treasure last week and when we went up on deck later for drinks the cast was doing rehearsals of the show without costume so we watched it again. It was loud, didn’t hear anything in our room, just a little on the veranda.
