:confused3Trying to decide whether the extra money is worth it to be able to go to both parks each of 2 days in December we are there. We arrive Sunday at 4 pm and leave some time Monday to go to WDW and check in there. Conceivably we could stay Monday until late that evening.
I looked at the maps and the rides and the wet rides in IoA look too wet and cold. We don't like the really big coasters and huge drop rides - much prefere stuff like Spiderman and 3D rides like Harry Potter ride. So it looks like we could cover IoA Sunday and spend Monday at the Studios. We will have FOL tickets since we are staying on site. We have been to see Harry Potter before and found that about 3 hours covers it if you can get to the head of the line.
What do you all think? should we do two parks each day? We could then save Harry Potter for Monday am and then do Studios where there are a lot of rides we like on Sunday and Monday afternoons.... :confused3

Since you are staying onsite and will have unlimited Express access, slow down and do everything you want to do. You shouldn't have any issues with lines so tour at your own pace.

If you're on site and there before the Xmas crazy week - you should really be able to do each in a day. Not really worth it but you can always upgrade if you finish IoA early and still have things to do at the studios. The wet rides are really fun at IoA however! We always bring flip flips and a change of clothes and ride them all back to back and get changed after (if the weathers OK.)

you arrive at the park around 4pm sunday.
check the calendar for park hours to see how late the parks will be open that day.
if you need to buy tickets or check into the hotel, that might cut time out of being in the parks.

(don't know if the 4pm time is when you are hotel checking in or in the park)

if you are going early december, you won't be facing crowds and that is a plus for you. staying on site gives that perk of using the express lines.

if you have only 3 hours before park closing, you will probably need all of monday to cover the highlights of both parks.
if you take in shows, that will cut into the ride times.

use the early entry perk for monday so you can breeze thru parry hotter if that section is on your list.
there's no express line for FJ, but you could use the SLR if it is open.

Thanks people. I checked the hours and learned the parks close at 7 pm Sunday! eek! would not have considered that if not for you all. So I changed my flights! Southwest Southwest!!! I love them! So now we arrive at the airport at 1:15 and will do one park each day - IOA Sunday with SRL for Potter. I have heard seeing Hogwarts at night is amazing! Then hit the Studios Monday. I am so excited!
