Two nights in Orlando

Trying to decide where to stay for 2 nights in Orlando. We will be coming off an 8 night cruise in FLL and driving up on a Sunday, then flying out of MCO on Tuesday, so really only have one full day. Thinking about maybe a waterpark hotel like Liki Tiki, or a mod like French Quarter, but thought I would ask for ideas. Its the week of/before Thanksgiving if that makes a difference.

I would suggest the clarion inn on lake buena vista.

It's very cheap (considering you posted this topic on the budget board) and very clean as well

I would do the Doubletree or Hilton in the downtown disney area-- so you can wander over there during your one day. You can also take a boat from there and go wander around/eat at POFQ/POR if that strikes your fancy.
