We're planning an 8 day trip...and we've been to most non-signature restaurants in WDW (but not all...and have missed several in Epcot). Our plans include the following six (and we need two more). Our family includes me, DH, and DD6 and DD4.

We tend to like places that have some sort of entertainment (ie. Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Biergarten) that keeps the kids busy while the grown-ups finish our dinner without feeling rushed.

Here's our plan so far:

Le Celliere (just because we love it)
Ohana (great food and the limbo)
Biergarten (dd6 loves buffets and the dancing keeps them busy)
Boma (staying at AKL and dd6 loves the buffet factor)
Chef Mickeys (dd6 requested this one...it is her favorite)
Askershus (dd4 requested this one and we love princesses)

7) ???
8) ???

Can you suggest any other places that include some form of "entertainment" that would work with young kids. I'm especially interested in some of the World Showcase restaurants because I feel like we always do the same "can't miss or it just wouldn't be disney" without trying new things.

Here's what we purposely aren't planning for this trip (mostly because we've done them many times and are looking for something different):

Crystal Palace
1900 Park Fare
LTT
WCC
Prime Time
Mama Melrose

How about Cape May Cafe for breakfast? They have Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale in beach attire. We've not gone, but we've read great reviews and are trying it this year. I know Hollywood & Vine has a character breakfast and lunch at the Studios but personally we won't set foot in the place--two bad experiences. I think the characters are from Disney's Playhouse? There is also a character breakfast with Donald Duck at Animal Kingdom (we've never done and I can't remember the name of).

Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot has a belly dancing show. That's the only other one I can think of that hasn't been mentioned already.

ditto Cape May breakfast. I personally like the fish and chips place in the UK - it is a must do for me even though there is not any entertainment.

Although I am so glad that someone mentioned the Antics of Whispering Canyon on here, because if I asked for a straw and they were thrown at me that restaurnat would have been closed for the rest of the night:rotfl2: well I have heard many things about this place and it is not for me,but it maybe for you and your family, many people and children have a greatttt time here,so you may want to check it out;) I even think that have bottomless milkshakes
