Two Memberships/UY Linking to My Disney Experience?

I can't quite seem to find the answer to my question.

My understanding is that if I own with two UYs, I have two memberships and they require two logins. Does this mean that I will need two logins to My Disney Experience and that I cannot link both memberships to my existing Disney account across WDW, DL, DCL, etc.?

I have been debating adding on CCV, but getting an August UY since there are so many more options and our actual anniversary is in August. We currently have a SEP UY with BRV and AKL, and bought SEP UY because at the time the perfect contract popped up (as we were originally looking at an Aug UY).

Is managing two memberships too much of a pain? I know we cannot use points from both in the same reservation, but can we link two reservations together made with different UY?

I'm not convinced yet to get two UY, as I do like convenience. But I'm also impatient waiting for good Sep UY CCV contracts to pop up on resale. ;-)

MDE only "cares" about a reservation number and a last name. In other words, your DVC logins will drive making the reservations for the two memberships, but MDE doesn't care because it's all already done once you get to MDE.

I'll leave it to someone else to comment on mixed UYs. My personal belief is that unless there is a dire circumstance driving the decision, it's simply not worth the hassle to most people.

I have multiple UYs. They are all in the same DVC account but are listed as separate memberships. I cannot use points from my Sept AKV along with my Dec BWV unless I do a split stay or call MS to transfer the points from one membership to the other.

As mentioned, the log in is the same and all memberships show up on DVC..just need to toggle between when making reservations,

Yes, you can book some nights on one and some on the other and then ask MS to link, They will tell you that you could still need to change rooms, but I have never had that happen. I do make sure when we check in the front desk checks to make sure we are in the same room so if we were not, it could be fixed,

The tricky part of different UY is that you may need to borrow on one when you have points on the other if you don’t want to transfer,

The drawback of a transfer is that points can not be used online, So, you have to call and lose the hour advantage. At CCV that could be an issue. Once something is booked with transferred points you can’t modify either without a call to MS,

I own different UY and with the exception of this year, I never transfer and just book things as they are their own memberships.

We have two different contracts and two different use years, so two memberships. Both contracts have the exact same names on them though. We only have one DVC login. If DVC is requiring two separate logins, that might be a sign that the names on the contracts aren't exactly the same.

We are able to manage both contracts under one DVC login.
