Two Excursions on the same day???

I think I read on a thread recently that Disney told someone that they couldn't book "back to back" excursions for the same day. Is this true? If so, how much time in between excursions do you need? For example, on our Grand Cayman day, we might want to do a Nautilus excursion and a Stingray City excursion. They have various times listed for both of these, some of them have 2 hours in between. Will Disney let us book 2 excursions for the same day, as long as there are 2 hours between them? I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with this. Thanks!! :)

I've never done back-to-back excursions but I will caution you that you don't always get back in the time they say you do. We've gotten back anywhere from 10-45 minutes after what we were supposed to. Especially on Grand Cayman I think you would be pushing it with two excursions.

I just checked, to be sure, and one of the Nautilus excursions starts at 9:05am and lasts 1-1 1/2 hours. Then one of the Stingray City excursions starts at 12:40pm and another one at 1pm. It seems like there'd be plenty of time to do both of these, so I'm wondering if Disney allows this.

If DCL won't allow it, you can always book Stingray City privately with Captain Marvin (the same person that Disney uses. ) It will save you a little money and perhaps even allow a later departure time....he does have a web site.

You can also try to do Capt. Marvin as a "walk in" provided that you are back on time. Just go over to his little kiosk when you get back to the port area and book it at that time. Of course, the danger in that is that he could be full. Still, there are a dozen tour operators with Stingray City excursions.

This is exactly what I'll do if I can't book both through Disney. I've heard good things about Capt. Marvin's as well as Native Way.

I didn't realize that Disney used Capt. Marvin's!? Learn something new every day :teeth:
