OK.. so on the 8th Dec i'm going with my best friend for two days in Disney... we're staying at the Santa Fe... last year we went in December for just one day and stayed outside Paris... so... now i need to know what other stuff i *MUST* do...

we never got chance to go to disney village really or into studios park... plus never staying at a disney hotel... is there any serious *must* dos??

we had a kind of plan.. we shoudl arrive at the hotel round about 8pm, so can go into Disney Village that night... where's good (but cheap) to eat?... next day into Disneyland Park for the whole day (there's stuff we missed last time we've been gutted about ever since... like... IASW!)... spend the evening in the village... then spend most of the next day in Studios, but, if i remember right if you have a hopper ticket you can leave studios after a certain time and head over to the main park? so we can catch the parades again... i'm not too sure what the parades will be like in studios... but i *know8 we loved the parades in the main park....

anyone got any advice? :confused3

thanks!

I didn't really like the studios part, we only went in there for the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster which is great so you must go on it! The parades in the studios are good but not as good as the ones in the main park.

I can't really think of a cheep place to eat in Disney Villiage but I will say that Planet Hollywood is really good and that rollerskating diner place (can't remember what it's called - which is probably cheeper than Planet Hollywood)

If you want to stay in a Disney hotel, Santa Fe is the least expensive I think and it's still really nice too.

Also, do NOT miss Space Mountain Mission 2 in Discoveryland!!

Hi - hope you´ll have a lot of magical fun :-)
:wizard:
OK.. Here some advice....

I don´t know, what you did last year... so... i just tell you, what my MUST is...
Lets go:

Disneyland Park:
The XMAS Parade - every afternoon
Fantillusion Parade - every evening.

Also great: Lion King Show at Discoveryland
And - visit Belles Christmas Village in Fantasyland

And an absolutely MUST: The XMAS-Tree ceremony. Every Evening.

Christmas is the most beautiful time at Disnesland Paris.

The Studios:
Yes , watch the Studios Parade. It´s smaller, than the one in DL-Park.
but - really nice.

Also great:
Rock´n Roller Coaster
and two of my most favorite Shows:
Animagique (if there lives a child in you)
And Cinemagic - very funny!

What kind of tickets do you have.
If you have a hopper..then you can walk from park to park, as often as you like.
If you just have a one-day ticket for the studios. you can go to DL-Park, after the Studios close.

And for food-prices at Disney-Village...

Have FUN!!!!

There will be so much to see during Xmas season, you may not fit everything in - but then you'll have to go again won't you!;)

I think that Cyberspace Mountain in the Studios is a great attraction and its one that most visitors seem to miss. Its a simulator which allows you to design your own Roller Coaster ride and then experience it. My DD and I love it because we are mad about Roller Coasters, and at WDW we did it quite a few times! You'll find it at the end of the TV studios tour. The tour is a bit dull but its worth doing once. Cyberspace Mountain is worth doing many times because you can make each time different.

Have fun planning!

Rosie

One thing you'll be able to do as you're staying in a Disney hotel is have the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast - it's the exact same breakfast you get in the hotel but instead you eat in Au Chalet de la Marionnette in Fantasyland and can get on the rides straight away and avoid the queues - it doesn't cost any extra so definitely worth doing in my opinion!

Annette's Diner is probably the cheapest place for a full meal in the Village - loads of choice & huge portions - and as Donna mentioned you get rollerskating waiters and they get up on the counter and sing and dance (not with their roller skates on! :earseek: ) I also love the Rainforest Cafe although it's not as cheap.

thanks everyone!

Frankpooh... we managed to do all that stuff in Disneyland Park last year... but we'd both rather see those parades twice again this time, than see the studios one if it's pants...

there's a new xmas parade too isn't there?

No and Yes,

the XMAS-Parade is nearly the same. The only thing, what´s new is...
they cut a dancers-group. And Fantillusion also has less castmembers in action. The new Boss, Karl Holz, is doing a lot to save money at the moment!

oh... ok...

well... i'm sure it'll still be fantastic! lol...

plus, last time we weren't quite prepared for the crowds for the first parade and got stuck on the bridge and my photos all have a wall across the bottom...
