I can understand not spelling someone's town right, but when they totally screw it up and it's not even the same town I just don't understand how they do that. When telling a woman on the phone my address, and town she never asked me to spell the town (she did ask me to spell the road), so when I got the e-mail confirmation I was very surprised to see Westminster as my town. Is there even a Westminster in Michigan? That's not even close to what my town actually is. I did e-mail her, to let her know it was wrong. Not sure it matters, but figured I better let them know anyway just in case.
Then in today's mail we received an issue of TV Guide. We do not subscribe to TV Guide, so I looked at the name and it belongs to someone else. I looked at the address, figuring the mail carrier just made a mistake and got it in the wrong mailbox. Nope. It's our address!! How does THAT happen? The road name and number that's on the mailing label (ours) isn't even close to the guy's road name and number (I checked the phone book and found him). Very strange!!
So, I'm going to call him tonight and let him know he needs to contact TV Guide to get the address fixed. I'll put the issue we got back out in the mailbox in the morning, with a sticky note, letting the mail carrier know what happened.
I just don't get how things like that happen.
