Hello, everyone! Sorry that I have been incommunicado recently, but it's been pretty crazy around here. The movers finally arrived with all of my things, and from what I can tell, nothing appears to be broken! Wahoo!! I'm glad that ordeal is over and done with. I'm pretty settled in now at my parents' house, although I am missing my nice big queen size bed something awful right now.

I spent this weekend with my little sister at her dance competition. It was the MA Nationals competition, in Ft. Worth. They looked sooo good, and ended up winning National Champions overall! They had the highest score out of any other team in the whole contest, they beat out over 40 other schools and studios. I was very proud. It was a goal that my team had back, 6, 7 years ago, to win National Champs jackets, and we never did, so to see my sister experience that was something special.

I am back on the job hunt, but I haven't really heard from anyone yet. I am trying not to let that stress me out. Kelly and I are trying to plan a get together sometime very soon, but she was out of town when I got back, and then I was with Kelsey when she got back, so....we haven't seen each other yet. Soon, hopefully. Anyway, hope everything is going well with you all!! Thanks for sticking with me!

I'm planning a trip to Texas after disney! I'm planning on going to the No Doubt concert at the end of May in Dallas! If for no other reason I going to the Dallas area to go to Whole Foods... I am jealous of anyone who lives near a Whole Foods store.

I'm glad your settled at your parents! I'm sure you will be back to work in no time! Don't get too stresed. Try to enjoy the free time while you got it yeah?

Thanks, Tarah! I am very proud of her. Woohoo!! Coming to Texas! I don't think that there is a Whole Foods close to me. I am trying to enjoy my free time, but the job thing gets stressful at time. Oh well, only so much I can do, right?

OMG, I am going to SPAIN! And Italy and France!

Ok, I've been overseas a few times. When I was a freshman in high school my choir traveled to Germany and Austria and sang in several different locations including Sunday morning Mass at the Dom Cathedral. That was incredible. We also saw the castle that Cinderella's Castle was modeled after when we were there. I have pics, I'll have to see if I can find them. I also spent a month traveling between Malaysia and Singapore one summer, because my father was living and working there.

But this year, my family (we always take a family vacation) was discussing where we would go this year. We were thinking about going to Hawaii (we've been once before). As we started doing our research, we discovered that we could actually go to Europe for less than it was going to cost for us to go to Hawaii. Plus, it was something we'd never done. Well, my sister and Mom went to Italy last year (choir again, they go on an overseas trip once every 4 years). But as a family, we've never done a trip like this. My Dad found a Mediterranean Cruise that leaves out of Barcelona, Spain for 7 days on Norwegian Cruise Line, for a great price. The ports are Barcelona, Malta, Rome, Naples/Capri, Florence, and Cannes (France). So, it looks like we are headed to the Mediterranean at the end of July! I am ridiculously excited, because I have wanted to see these places for such a long time now, and we are going!


We're still looking for the best flights for all of us, there are 6 going total, the five of us in my family, and then my Dad's Mom (Nanny). She's a crazy little world traveler, she was in Prague doing who knows what last year. I mean it isn't 100% official, cause we haven't booked the flights yet, but we have put down the deposit for the cruise!

Congrats to your sis on the dance team competition. That is wonderful news. I totally relate to how exciting that is. I was the captain of the tall flag team (think marching band drill team). We always went to competition, but we never placed. The year I was captain, we placed third, and so we were beyond excited by that! To actually WIN! though, very cool.

AND WOW!!! How fun to go on the Mediterranean cruise!! I have been fortunate enough to go on one cruise. I went with my parents. It was so much fun. There is so much to do on those boats, not to mention the ports and the exursions. I hope that all your plans come together. So exciting!!

Hey Heather! Very, very soon we are going to have a Dismeet. And I am sure I can fit you in my luggage for the cruise!


Still no flights booked for the Spain trip, but in Disney news, Kelly and I found a fabulous flight to Orlando for our dates. The price is soooo great, it's like, $215 a person. When we originally started talking about these dates we weren't finding anything less than $300. So, I think this is a great deal. The flight leaves DFW at 9:15 am and arrives in Orlando at 12:40pm. The return leaves MCO at 6:20pm, and we would be back in DFW at 8:30pm. I haven't booked them yet, because once we book the flights we are officially locked into these dates, regardless of what Disney discounts come out later in the days around our trip. And...I haven't told my parents that I am planning on going on this trip. Eh...I already know what issues they will take, and it is just one battle I am not looking forward to. Once the flights are booked though, I really have no excuse not to clue them in.....
Anyway, the tickets are on a 24 hour hold, so Kelly and I can make sure we are 100% sure that this is the way we want to go!

You may have to play around with the dates a little, but I put it in several times with our dates and always get the choices that I'd want (if we were flying.)
