Does anyone know if Disney allows two pop up campers on one site? Thanks!

No, 1 camper per site, you can have a tent however.

um, it says that however, I have seen people take two popups and butt them back to back and no one said a word to them

There will always be those that will break the rules so they can try to get something for nothing. However, I would hate to be the person that has 2 popups on one site and then Disney tells them to remove one of them; especially when its a peak time at FW and there are no available sites (or only premium available).

I had a fifth wheel and pop up camper on 1 site for 6 weeks last summer and no one said a word to me. :confused3

Friends of ours that used to winter at the Fort (until the upgrades were done and the new pricing makes long term stays somewhat cost prohibitive) used to have a 42' MH & a pop-up on their site the entire time they were there - like 4 months. This was back when the rules were more rigidly enforced. So me, being the inquisitive person I am, asked them how they got away with it? Here's the answer.... as long as the two units fit on the site, and you don't have more than 10 people staying on the site, you're good. They didn't "get away" with anything. Disney said it was okay.

If you want to be on the safe side, double check with the Fort manager. The scenario I'm quoting you was back in 2004 on the 1100 loop before all the upgrades were done. Things may be different now, so just call and ask. That way you will be sure.

Good luck and good camping!! :thumbsup2

Personally, I don't see the big deal with it. If you can fit both on there and you are not interfering with the site at all, why is it bothering anyone? I personally saw Angie's set up this summer and was so impressed that I found an old popup for $250 and I am fixing it up so that my son can use it when he is older. I don't plan on getting a different MH and since the MH was made originally for a retired couple, the pull out couch will be obsolete for the growing boy soon. Hell, he is almost as tall as me now. I consider it a wise investment considering the deal and interest/loan agreement I have on the MH. I could never hope to get that deal again on a MH. Besides, I love my MH and really have no plans to upgrade either. A discretely placed camera in the popup will keep a little boy and his friends in line as well!:surfweb:

We once put a tear-drop trailer at the back of our site behind the MH. Our daughter and her family stayed in it. Is that so much different from having a tent back there? We ran power there from a 20 A circuit and split the cable connection so SIL could watch TV at night while we played board games.

I see no difference at all. I have had a huge tent behind my site before and not a peep from CM's who come by several times a day. I have also had the mayor's popup behind my MH when he squatted this summer and not a peep either. If you are allowed to have up to 10 people and are legitimately paying for each adult staying (which I DO!), then I see no difference.

We allways have the MH and the guest house on one site and have never had a problem

That's a great idea. We are coming up to a similar predicament. What I would really like would be something we could use as a toy hauler and spare bedroom. Something like this, but maybe a little shorter:

That's what we use ours for to haul the golf cart and an extra room. I would stay away from the work and play they are very heavy with solid wood side walls. One of the models has #1000 toung weight

Has anyone had any recent experence with this? Our 24' TT is tight with all the kids and would love to put the boys in a pop up.

Don't believe the rules have changed, still states one camper per site. You could always just put a tent up for the boys, that is totally within the Fort rules.

When we stayed mid June this year we saw a 5th wheel with a pop up sitting behind it on the 1700 loop, figured the rules had changed, or the rule makers were on vacation.

Rules haven't changed. I'd hate to be the one they decided to enforce on and have to move 1, if they have an open site and pay double.

I feel the same way.
I don't necessarily like the rules, but I do play by them. Just to make my life easier.
