Two annual passes at once?

I would never try this because it is a ridiculous waste of money, but I'm curious as to whether it is possible to have two annual passes in your own name at the same time? I could see people with more disposable income doing this to get an extra set of fast passes. Of course they would have to enter the park twice, but technically both would be their own ticket.

Interesting first post...

I'm not sure if 2 APs under the same name could be activated at the same time. However, I do know multiple tickets for extra FPs won't work.

I have multiple tickets under my name, including party tickets. Most have been on my account for the past 3 trips, but I am only allowed to pre-book 3 FPs per day max. We've never used FP loopholes and definitely wouldn't now with the MDE lock warnings.

are you sure? because you just signed up... and this is your first post... so this looks like an anon throwaway account to me :P

You probably could buy two and have them linked to separate My Disney Experience accounts, then go through the rigmarole of entering/exiting parks (if you wanted 6 in one. I suppose you don't need to if you're just doing 3 in two parks and hopping), but whether this is expressly prohibited by Disney is questionable. I'd say it's a ToS violation and I wouldn't be surprised if they were to lock both MDE accounts of people doing this from here on out.

Also, from a Disney-uses-your-data perspective, it's a really bad idea because it adds one more data point that some people are willing to pay up to $850 (or however much your AP costs) for 3 extra FP per day for the length of their trip. (Of course, the price point presentation differs from there -- because some people doing this will go to Disney 100 days a year, others maybe just for a 14 day-trip at once. But you get the point. It helps create a price floor for an additional service that could likely be offered in the future by more Disney-approved means.)

popcorn:: But folks who have done this will be along shortly, I'm sure.

Haha, well I frequently browse the DISboards topics and felt that it was finally time to create account. I have an annual pass at the moment, but I would not consider buying any other tickets. I was just legitimately curious if that is something that people do. For that amount of money you could also just take a VIP tour and have unlimited fastpasses for a day.

It's possible, but anyone willing to spend that much cash just to score extra FP+ is kind of nuts in my book.
Given that one night at some WDW resort rooms cost more than an annual pass, I'm not sure that you'd have to be nuts.

Does that tour actually exist? Because I've never heard of it and I feel like that's something people would toalk about...

If you look up Private Premium VIP tours on the wdw website, it's says "The ability to enjoy some of your favorite attractions efficiently, even repeatedly". While it doesn't explicitly state unlimited fast passes, the reviews of people who have taken confirm that. Of course it is $400-600 an hour and I believe a 7 hour minimum, so that's quite a lot of money.

Yes, you can get a VIP guide to take you on any ride at any theme park with the private premium VIP tour. You book it for your own family- you're not part of a group. It's extremely expensive, which is why relatively few people do it.

No, I'd heard of those, but as far as I understand it, they don't include unlimited fp+ for the day. You get fp+ access for each ride on the tour once. But not all rides are on the tour and you don't ride multiple times.

Edit to say I see you explained the premium. Only read reviews for the group previously. I'm amazed there are reviews for the premium. That's crazy expensive.

It does say under Private, Premium VIP Tour:
  • The ability to enjoy some of your favorite attractions efficiently, even repeatedly
But this is likely what celebrities or very wealthy individuals do. I'm not sure it's the same at Disneyland, but I've seen several social media posts of various celebrities with plaids that take them around to all the rides. There's no way you're going to tell Mr A-List actor he can only ride splash mountain once. They may not want them to take back to back rides but I'm sure they're very willing to let regular people wait a little longer to keep those clients happy.

You have to show a photo ID to activate your AP, when you went to do the second one it would probably show in the system as you already having one.

Yes, you would have to have some false ID to have to APs open at the same time ;)

You can buy multiple day tickets and use them (in and out of the turnstyles and in again to validate them for the day) in the OP's way, but to get 60 day FPs you'd have to have room reservations with a fake person as your second ticket. It sounds crazy-expensive (but some people have crazy amounts of money) and illegal (fake person on account).

Speaking as someone that has done the private tour, you can ride multiple times and there were no rides that were not included. We got to pick what ride we wanted and however many times we wanted to ride. We did all four parks, all the headliners and then some.

You could take up to 10 people in total right? If that's case the price per person would actually be fairly reasonable for what you are getting.

Yep, up to 10 people. Which we had so it made it, while still expensive, more reasonable. It was an amazing day and we shared with friends and it still makes us smile. We'll definitely do it again.

since this is a hypothetical scenario about circumventing fp use I'm closing.
