Two 4 day trips or One 8 day trip?

DGF is a teacher and we have found ourselves in a dilemna. As you know most teachers only have 3 personal days per year and our forced to go on vacation when EVERYONE else does. I was thinking that maybe taking 2 shorter trips (using some sick time) might be better than taking one longer trip. We go to WDW atleast 3-4 times a year (yes, we're lucky!) and are looking for some feedback. It would be no problem to take off for a nice 4 day weekend and we could do something like that every other month. what do you think?

My sister is a teacher and we're two hours from WDW. We do the four day trips often thing. I don't mind not seeing everything when we go because I know it's only going to be a short time befire we are there again.

I think 4 days is great if you are nearby or can get to Orlando easily. For us, dealing with airports, long plane flights, rental cars, etc. I would never consider not doing it in one big trip. When we go to DL, it's always a short trip and very enjoyable.

We're in VA so we'd def have to fly. The airport is less than 30 minutes away and usually isn't too busy, so taking a flight isn't that much of a drag. We'd leave on a 3PM flight on Wed and come back Sun night. I figure we could do this atleast 2 times within a year just to get a nice quick WDW fix. I think it's more about getting some encouragement! hehe thanks

We have done several trips that include 4-5 days in the parks. I like that length of stay, but would like to try 8+ days at some point in time.
