I'm thinking a gift basket would be nice for our son. We will be celebrating the anniversary (5th) of his adoption on this cruise. The thing is that I wouldn't want to give it to him until his adoption day, Thursday. Would there be a way of hiding it or would it automatically be in the room when we arrive?

Edited to add: If we used a Perfect Gift, would this be possible?

Congrats.. ! What a nice idea..!! I think normally the baskets do get delivered to your stateroom directly... unless you request otherwise... Maybe you can ask for the basket to be delivered to Guest Services under your name and stateroom / and ask for it to be delivered on Thursday... :D

or maybe you could go to your stateroom first without your son, and tyr to find a hiding place, or see if you stateroom host would have a suggestion for storing it until then.

The basket will be in your room when you arrive. There isn't that much storage space unless you get a small basket. Perhaps you could have Shirley put it in a box and tape the box up, and leave it in a corner?
