I am the aunt of a set of wonderful 4 year old boy/girl twins. They are a blast to be with. We will be taking them back to Disney World here in a few months and I can't wait to see their faces. They went once at 13 months, but they slept through most of that.

I have fraternal twin boys who will turn 3 next week! (Where has the time gone?!?!? ) We are taking them to WDW for their first trip on Thursday I am so excited!!

No tips to offer - I'm still taking it day by day. It's all an adventure!

I worry about them going to school and being in different classes. I know that some schools will allow them to be in the same class, which is what I am hoping for. I worry one will have a ton of homework and the other will have none - and that will be a frustration...

My advice for Disney with little ones (this would work for young siblings too) as far as rides they are to small for is this... we didn't want to sit in the child swap section wrestling with 2 little ones - so we normally will skip an attraction they can't do. However, my DS9 wanted to ride the new Star Tours and neither DH or I had been on it - so we asked the girl who was taking the fast passes how that would work (child swap - no stroller - 2 babies etc) and she gave us a fast pass for the other parent. IDK if that is something they have the option for on every attraction - but it doesn't hurt to ask!

I have b/g twins who are turning 8 this month. I agree with the comment it doesn't get easier, just different. Each year has it's moments, but i wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have boy/boy twins that are five. I love having twins and couldn't imagine it any other way. My boys will be celebrating their sixth birthday at the World next year, and we can't wait!

We have 4 year old b/g twins.
They shared a room until 3. We sometimes dress them in similar colors. Of course not same stuff being boy/girl. Esp when we travel. I get matchy only when we do Christmas cards, birthdays or travel. Easier for me to spot them. Also, still fun to dress them similar. We still do Easter baskets and lots of photos because it does not last long. Soon they will not want pictures with Santa or posing for pictures so we get a lot in while they are little.

They will be individual all on their own. Let them experience with everything good: foods, classes, toys, etc. They will tell you what makes them unique.

Mine are night and day. Lovin' it.

Another twin mom here! My oldest son will be turning 5 on our trip (March/April) and my fraternal twin boys will be a few months shy of 3yo when we go.

It's our first trip to WDW with the kids- i can NOT wait!!

We're renting a City Mini + rider board for all of them... and bringing my mom and my 18yo niece for help lol

I have identical twin boys that will be 7 next may I had twin to twin transfusion with them and up until that point I had been told my twins was non identical!! I spent the whole pregnancy in hospital with kidney problems and severe sickness so bad that I was tube feed for the last 3 months of the pregnancy! I also at that time had a 2 yr old son that I spent 5 months in hospital having with the same problems( should have learnt my lesson the 1st time) hahaha only plus side was I weighed 8stone 4 after my twins who by the way at 37 wks was born weighing in at 6lbs 11 and 6lbs 3oz I'm only 5th so was HUGE....they are truly my little fighters and was worth every needle and minute in that damn hospital up side NO C section

I have 2 yo boy/girl twins. They are best friends and run around together all day long, though they do fight over toys etc at times.

They have always been a challenge and a delight at the same time. They are extremely rambunctious... I swear they have 200x the energy of other kids I know their age that are singletons. Its like they feed off each other. But they are a lot of fun and I love seeing their own little personalities develop.

I have 9 year old identical girls who will be 10 in May. What a ride it has been but they are so much fun! We also have a younger daughter who is two years younger than her sisters. My poor husband is out-numbered big time!

Just this past week both girls were running for student council representative for their classes (different classes) and one of them won for her class and the other didn't. This is the first time that one has done something that the other hasn't. Should be interesting!

These are my only kids, so I'm a total amateur at this. How do you deal with the schedule disruption of such an event? It's going to be right in the middle of bedtime. Are they too young for the crowds, noise, etc?

At that age, IMO it's not worth the schedule disruption, to take them out to an event like MNSSHP. They won't really get anything out of it & like you mention, the crowds and noise could be too much for them. Give it another year or two, you'll have a better read on their personalities, and how flexible and adaptable they are. Much more likely to have a good experience at 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 than 7 mos.

I know people mess w/ babies schedules all the time, but IMO ONE cranky baby is handle-able, especially w/ 2 parents that can switch off -- two cranky, out of sorts babies, just make you wanna pull out your own hair, because there is no break, 2 cranky babies, 2 parents (hopefully!) no hand off, until one finally quits.
