Any body have some insight on how to get twin 6 year old boys around park other than on dad's shoulders. They have not been in a stroller in about 2 years ,do they rent wagons ?

We took my DS when he was 6. He did fine w/o a stroller. I say let them walk and plan on a few rest breaks if needed.;)

My aunt and uncle took their twin DD (5 at the time) a couple of years ago. They were in the parks for 4 days. The girls walked for the first 2 1/2 days, but by the end of the 3rd they were getting worn out and tired. On day 4, they rented a double stroller from the park and had a great day! Worked perfectly for them!

Your question about wagons didn't get answered yet. They don't rent wagons or allow anyone to bring wagons in.

Well I guess I will have to start working out can't believe they don't do wagons I figured they could make a killing on those rentals.

you are not allowed anything that you have to drag behind you such a wheelie cooler or wagon. The problem is the item is behind you and you can't see it. It tends to catch other peoples feet in tight quarters. I am very glad they don't allow wagons. People would haul in the kitchen sink if you let them.

We just bought umbrella strollers and a clip to hook them together. When our boys, 4 and 6, got too tired, they would ride. The strollers fell apart at the end of the week, but hey, they only cost $20.00 each. We would have spent $105 on rentals. Prncess674, i agree with you. I also hate those d**n jogging strollers with the wheels out in front. Also, we are from New Orleans, too!

We are taking our twin girls (7) and after talking with some friends that went last year with their 7 year old, we have decided to take a side by side umbrella stroller. We have four children and it will make it easier getting through the airport and we will have it available when they do get tired in the parks. I know they aren't too expensive and can pass it on to someone who may need it when we get home. Have a great trip...remember if the kids are happy then everyone will be happy too! :smooth:

We took our twin boys when they has just turned 3. We used our side-by-side umbrella stroller, and it worked great! Our next trip, they will be just about to turn 5, and we'll be taking the same stroller again (I've kept it around with trips like this in mind, because they haven't needed it for regular use in a long time).

Have fun!

We were at WDW in Aug. We let our 5 yr. old twins walk at AK and they did OK but it was a shorter day. We rented a double stroller at MK and they were more than happy to ride. Our 8 yr. old even kept fighting for a seat. The strollers there don't look like baby strollers so maybe they won't mind riding in them.

It was also nice to have the stroller to put the camera bag and backpack in.

Took DD when they were 5 & took a stroller called a Sit & Stand, It is a stroller that has a seat in front & a place to stand behind it. It was wonderful. Would recommend it because it was only as wide as a single stroller.
