..we're putting our children in a cat. 11 across the hall from our cat. 6. They will want the twin bed option. Am I correct in surmising that all rooms have the same beds, that they can be pushed together to make the queen size, or separated to make 2 twins? When do I have to note this preference? I forgot to mention it at the time of booking. Does the room steward take care of it? Or maybe I have goofed big time....

I cruised with my dd in August and we also wanted the bed made into twins, the stateroom host did not seem overly keen on doing this for some reason and covinced me that my daughter would be just as comfortable on the sofa bed. She said it was ok but would have prefered a bed, so as we have booked a 7 day for our next cruise I requested at the time of booking that I would like the beds seperated.

You know, now that I think back on it, the queen bed in my hubby and my Cat 11 cabin did not seem to have any sort of division in the middle. Perhaps some rooms really are queen beds and can't be seperated?

On the Wonder I traveled with my 2 kids. Since my kids move around too much for me to sleep with, I asked the room steward to separate the beds. He was very pleasant and when I came back in after late dinner, the beds had been separated. Just be aware that the bedspread is for the queen and so when made into the 2 twins, neither bed had a bedspread which was okay with me.

All queens on the ship can be converted as far as I know

You just have to ask when you arrive and find the room steward - they do have to remake the bed but ask anyway

Perhaps there was a shortage of twin covers for the previous poster because we had bed spreads

Wow I hope my cat 11 room next cruise has one big bed because the last 2 cruises that bumpy gap in the middle when they push them together makes me nuts at night!
